Административная конференция Соединенных Штатов
Независимое федеральное агентство [independent agency], созданное в 1964 по Закону об Административной конференции [Administrative Conference Act] с целью оказания другим федеральным ведомствам профессионального, правового, научного и иного содействия в реализации правительственных программ и административной деятельности. Базировалась на опыте двух временных комиссий, созывавшихся президентом США [President, U.S.] в 1953 и 1961. В составе Конференции работали федеральные чиновники, частнопрактикующие юристы, ученые. Председатель [Chairman of the Conference] назначался президентом на пятилетний срок "по совету и с согласия" [advice and consent], Сената [Senate, U.S.], члены Конференции назначались председателем на двухлетний срок или делегировались ведомствами. С 1995 финансирование агентства Конгрессом США [Congress, U.S.] было прекращено
